Environmental justice mini-grant and technical assistance program

 

To support community-based organizations working to advance environmental justice in their communities, the National Environmental Health Partnership Council is pleased to announce a mini-grant and technical assistance program. The Partnership Council is convened by APHA and supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.

 

The Advancing Environmental Justice through Technical Assistance Mini Grants program will award $10,000 to three community-based organizations. Eligible organizations must be U.S.-based 501c3 nonprofits with a demonstrated ability to work with community members to advance environmental justice. Organizations should be reflective of the communities disproportionately affected by the environmental injustice addressed. Application deadline: Jan. 8, 2021.

 

 

The National Environmental Health Partnership Council is comprised of a variety of agencies and organizations dedicated to environmental health within the US. APHA is a founding partner of the Council, which strives to support healthy people by working for healthier environments. The Council brings together diverse stakeholders to help expand and sustain awareness, education, policies and practices related to environmental health.
