  Job Description and Duties Do you have a passion for composing, coordinating and editing the analysis of complex state and federal legislation? The Legislative and External Affairs Office of CalRecycle is looking for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to be responsible for analyzing complex legislative issues related to CalRecycle responsibilities and programs. This position will leverage your skills through continuous program review, statistical analysis, and investigation or relevant research regarding waste management and recycling legislation. You will also develop amendment language to legislation; write letters to legislators to communicate CalRecycle’s position on bills; identify and assess stakeholders, fiscal impacts, health and safety issues, and programmatic impacts of legislation. You will routinely consult with and/or respond to inquiries from legislative offices, interest groups, other state agencies, and the public regarding waste management and recycling

  The  Outdoor Equity Grants Program  (OEP) provides  program operation funding  for outdoor access, including day or overnight trips from underserved communities to regional, state, national parks, tribal land, and other natural areas within California. OEP will fund program operating and transportation costs but will not fund capital projects.  Applications are due by or before October 8, 2021.
