The US EPA’s Office of General Counsel, External Civil Rights Compliance Office is hiring two (2) GS-9-12 Program Analysts to do external civil rights investigative work (primarily Title VI of the Civil Rights Act). Our environmental justice and civil rights mission is a priority for the Biden-Harris Administration and for EPA’s new Administrator, Michael Regan. This posting is open until April 14th.
At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Analyze civil rights
programmatic issues to recommend solutions to problems related to case
management;
- Identify resources
required to process a complaint or compliance review to support case
investigation and resolution;
- Coordinate Agency
communications with recipient and complainant and/or their attorneys or
other representatives to maintain required records;
- Collaborate with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinators and Agency officials to review and redact documents and respond to FOIA requests.
