RCC Capacity Building Grant Program - March 9 Public Workshop

 

The California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) is excited to share the development of the Regional Climate Collaboratives Program, a new capacity-building grant program focused on supporting under-resourced communities secure funding for and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation projects. The RCC Program will fund community-rooted and cross-sectoral partners to form a collaborative and conduct capacity building activities with the objective of:   

·       Developing Actionable Projects and Plans 

·       Building Social Infrastructure 

·       Centering Community-Engagement and Decision-Making 

·       Developing Equity-centered Processes  

 

Please join SGC for a public workshop on Wednesday, March 9 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to discuss this new opportunity. The workshop will consist of an overview presentation and breakout discussions to gather feedback on the proposed program components. Register Here! 

 

Public comments will be accepted until Tuesday, March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Public comments can be provided during the workshop and via email to TA@sgc.ca.gov.
