The Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) is the State of California's lead land use planning charting California's future, with a focus on community development, climate resilience, and equity.



$9.5M Available for Climate Adaptation Planning Grants – Virtual Workshops and Office Hours 


Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program staff have made a second round of funding available through the Adaptation Planning Grant. The first step to applying is filling out the Pre-Application Interest Form. Visit the Adaptation Planning Grant webpage to sign up for a virtual workshop or office hour and learn more. The next virtual office hour is at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21 and the next Application Workshop is April 2 at 9:30 a.m. 



                      




$20M Available to Protect Communities from Extreme Heat – Get Help with Your Application! 


Part of the Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program, Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Grant staff and technical assistance providers are hosting a series of virtual office hours and application workshops through April 23, when applications are due by 5:00 p.m. Attend a workshop to learn about the application and case studies of extreme heat resilience projects and attend an office hour to ask our staff questions about the application. March Meeting of California Precision Medicine Advisory Council 

The California Precision Medicine Advisory Council will gather virtually for their quarterly meeting on Monday, March 25 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PT. The agenda will include brief overviews of the Representative Research Collaborative, the Depression Research Request for Proposals, and a continuation of programmatic strategic planning.



Integrated Climate Adaptation & Resiliency Program Technical Advisory Council Meeting – March 29, 2024 

We invite you to attend the first meeting of 2024 of the Technical Advisory Council to the Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program! This meeting will take place on March 29 from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. The Council will convene in person at the California Energy Commission’s Rosenfeld Hearing Room at 715 P Street Sacramento, CA 95814. You may register to attend the Council meeting virtually or you may attend in person. The meeting agenda will include an overview of the 2023 ICARP Impact Report, the Vulnerable Communities Definition, and an update on the Regional Resilience Grant Program.
