Recognizing Exceptional Clean Energy Leaders
Do you know someone who is making an exceptional contribution that’s innovative and producing equitable outcomes to the pursuit of a 100 percent clean energy future for all? The California Energy Commission (CEC) asks that you provide your nominations by October 8, 2020.
The CEC will host the first-ever Clean Energy Hall of Fame Awards in December 2020. The awards aim to honor individuals and entities who are inspiring and making exceptional contributions to help California achieve a 100 percent clean energy future for all. The Clean Energy Hall of Fame Awards categories include:
One Youth Game-Changer award
One Youth Game-Changer award will recognize an individual who is 18 years or age or younger who, or entities and organizations focused on youth that, is helping to advance California toward a clean energy future and inspiring the new generation of energy experts, entrepreneurs, and leaders to change the game.
Four Clean Energy Champion awards
Awards will recognize individuals or organizations who are contributing to California’s clean energy future through their bold moves and innovative ideas, while helping transform communities in California through more equitable outcomes.
One Lifetime Achievement award
Award will recognize an individual with at least 20 years of documented accomplishments advancing clean energy that have had a significant positive impact on the State of California and environmental justice communities in particular.
