Partners Advancing Climate Equity (PACE)

SGC is launching Partners Advancing Climate Equity (PACE), a new leadership development and technical assistance program.

PACE, led by the Community Assistance for Climate Equity team, is a capacity-building program for frontline community leaders from across California to connect with peers, take skills and projects to the next level, and co-create equitable climate solutions. The program will bring together a cohort of 20 community leaders who represent a diversity of organization types, topic areas of focus, and regions throughout the state. The program will be offered in both English and Spanish. Participants will be eligible to receive up to an $8,000 stipend. Please visit the program website for information on PACE and eligibility.

The application is now live and we will be holding an informational webinar on Monday, NOVEMBER 16, 2020. The deadline for applications is THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2020 AT 5:00 PM PST.

We are reaching out to you because your mission and work closely align with the goals of this program. We believe your network, especially folks working in under-resourced parts of the state, could benefit from knowing about this opportunity, and we hope that you can join us in spreading the word.

To make outreach as easy as possible, we created a Google Drive Promotional Partner kit here with customized templates to select from for your audience. Our goal is to select a diverse cohort of community leaders serving under-resourced communities and tribes throughout California.
