To support community-based organizations working to advance environmental justice in their communities, the National Environmental Health Partnership Council is pleased to announce a mini-grant and technical assistance program. The Partnership Council is convened by APHA and supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. The Advancing Environmental Justice through Technical Assistance Mini Grants program will award $10,000 to three community-based organizations. Eligible organizations must be U.S.-based 501c3 nonprofits with a demonstrated ability to work with community members to advance environmental justice. Organizations should be reflective of the communities disproportionately affected by the environmental injustice addressed. Application deadline: Jan. 8, 2021. |
