The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a virtual public work group meeting for the Low Carbon Transportation Program clean transportation equity investments. The Governor’s Fiscal Year 2021-22 Budget proposal includes $465 million for Low Carbon Transportation Investments using Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds from 2020-21 and 2021-22 budget years, with a total of $150 million for clean transportation equity projects. This work group will highlight desired community and public engagement efforts for development of the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Additionally, CARB will discuss progress made in implementing Senate Bill 350 Low-Income Barriers Report recommendations and provide preliminary clean transportation equity project funding allocations. The work group will also include updates for the following Clean Transportation Equity projects: Clean Mobility Options, Clean Mobility in Schools, Rural School Bus Pilot, and the Sustainable Transportation Equity Project. Additional work group(s) will be scheduled to discuss the other clean transportation equity projects including the vehicle ownership projects (Clean Cars 4 All and Financing Assistance for Lower-Income Consumers) and possibly for Outreach and Education (capacity building, community transportation needs assessments, and One-Stop-Shop - Access Clean California).
