Potential applicants are invited to participate in webinars hosted in early June 2021 by CalEPA to address questions about the Environmental Justice Small Grants Program’s 2021 Grant Cycle solicitation.

CalEPA
will respond to questions from potential applicants regarding threshold
eligibility criteria, administrative issues related to the submission of the
proposal, and requests for clarification about application process. During each
Webinar, the CalEPA Environmental Justice Small Grants Program:
Will cover:
o
Pre-application information
o
Highlight changes from the last cycle
o
An overview of eligibility
o
Eligible and ineligible costs
o
reporting requirements and answer any general questions
Will not:
o
Answer any questions regarding specific projects or proposals
o
Respond to any informal comments on draft applications
o Provide advice to applicants on how to respond to ranking criteria
The application and instructions may be downloaded from the CalEPA Environmental Justice Small Grants Program website at https://calepa.ca.gov/envjustice/funding/. The maximum amount per project is $50,000. The application deadline is June 30, 2021.
