Self-nomination form is now open for the
California Creative Corps development panel!
The
California Arts Council seeks nominations from
artists, culture bearers, government employees, and individuals with
community-based organizations statewide to participate in our new pilot
program development panels.
About the California Creative Corps
The
2021 State Budget includes a one-time $60 million general
fund investment for the CAC to implement the California Creative Corps,
a media, outreach, and engagement pilot program designed to support
communities statewide with concerns following the COVID-19 pandemic,
including other social, civic, and environmental issues.
How it works
A
total of 24 panelists will be selected — three individuals from each
of the eight regions outlined in the Otis Creative Economy Report
2021 — to collaborate with community stakeholders within
their local communities to establish the California Creative Corps
program guidelines.
Support
Panelists
will receive a $100 honorarium for each meeting they attend.
Apply by 11:59 p.m. on November 1!
