UC Davis Environmental Justice Fellowship Program

UC Davis is seeking applicants to their Environmental Justice and Equity Fellowship. The application deadline was extended to Monday, November 1, 2021. Register here for the Open House on October 27th 2021 at noon PST to learn more.

The goal of the program is to immerse community expertise into academic research and policy. This fellowship program will benefit participating fellows, the communities they serve, and the university researchers they engage with. Each fellow will receive up to $10,000 in support, based on their specific needs to attend the program. Tuitions, stipend, housing, and travel costs will be covered for the in-person session/s in Davis, California. The program will last 6 months and request one to three in person sessions.

UC Davis is seeking applications from individuals to participate as fellows, as well as feedback and guidance on how to best design this program to meet applicant’s specific interest, goals, and availability. For the initial two years, we seek a cohort of senior leaders from organizations with an interest in environmental justice—environmental non-government organizations, foundations, community-based organizations, and environmental justice advocacy groups. The first cohort is planned to start in January 2022.
