Reminder: Health Risk Assessment Capacity Building Session
The California Air Resources Board (CARB), Transportation
and Toxics Division (TTD) is hosting an afternoon session in December to
present an introduction to Health Risk Assessments (HRA). HRAs are used by a
variety of government agencies to evaluate the potential health impacts of air
pollution emissions. CARB is hosting a capacity building session to better
equip attendees to understand the uses of HRAs and significance of information
they provide in decision making at various levels of government.
This
interactive capacity building session will allow community advocates to better
understand and utilize this important tool. Technical staff from CARB and the
Office of Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) will be available throughout the session
to answer questions and listen to your suggestions. We look forward to seeing
you there!
