Freight and Marine Grant Funding in California
Up to $20 million in grant funding is
currently available and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until
funding is exhausted
The
Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) invites you to join us for a
webinar to discuss statewide grant funding for Zero-Emission Freight and Marine
equipment in California. The webinar will be hosted on Wednesday, September 20,
2023 at 10:00 AM PDT.

Up
to $20 million in grant funding is currently available and is awarded on a
first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted.
Eligible project categories include:
- Heavy-lift
forklifts (8,000 lb. lift capacity or
greater)
- Airport
ground support equipment
- Port
cargo handling equipment (including terminal tractors)
- Ferries,
tugboats, towboats repower, and
- Shore
power system installation for ocean-going vessels not required or not yet
required to use shore power while at berth.
During
the webinar, we will provide an overview of the Volkswagen NOx
Mitigation Funds for California, discuss eligibility requirements, project
evaluation, potential funding amount, the application process, and answer
questions.
