Webinar to Discuss Statewide Zero-Emission Freight and Marine Grant Funding in California

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) invites you to join us for a webinar to discuss statewide grant funding for Zero-Emission Freight and Marine equipment in California. The webinar will be hosted on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM PDT.

Up to $20 million in grant funding is currently available and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted.

Eligible project categories include:

• Heavy-lift forklifts (8,000 lb. lift capacity or greater)
• Airport ground support equipment
• Port cargo handling equipment (including terminal tractors)
• Ferries, tugboats, towboats repower, and
• Shore power system installation for ocean-going vessels not required or not yet required to use shore power while at berth.

During the webinar, we will provide an overview of the Volkswagen NO_x Mitigation Funds for California, discuss eligibility requirements, project evaluation, potential funding amount, the application process, and answer questions.
